TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
